  • Greg Dick – General Manager/COO

      Greg grew up in Eau Claire, Wisconsin and graduated from Northern Illinois University with a degree in Economics. He began his career as the Head Golf Professional at Oconomowoc Golf Club. He then became the General Manager/COO at Tanglewood Resort and Country Club north of Dallas, Texas. Greg has four sons and his wife Lisa is a Special Education Teacher for the visually impaired. Greg is a member of the PGA and in 2015 was inducted into The Wisconsin Golf Hall of Fame.

  • Vicki Schroeder – Assistant General Manager

      Vicki has a diverse background in business operations, sales, business development and nonprofit management. Her career included leadership positions at Compaq Computer Corporation, Hewlett Packard, Johnson Controls Inc., the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts and the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra. She has served on several nonprofit boards and is proficient at connecting people to causes and experiences. With a personal passion for hospitality and a former member of a private club, Vicki enjoys creating an exceptional member and employee environment. Vicki has served in a leadership position at the University Club of Milwaukee since November 2015.

  • Colleen White – Director of Membership Sales

      Colleen joined the University Club team in January of 2017. Prior to that, Colleen spent over 5 years in the private club industry in South Florida as a membership sales professional. She has executed her duties through a successful club merger and was nominated for Billy Casper Golf Salesperson of the Year in 2014. As a graduate of Marquette University, Colleen has exceptional skills in marketing, communications and member engagement. She looks forward to getting to know every member on a personal level and connecting them with other members and club programming resources. Colleen has offices at both the City and Country Club! She just relocated back to the Midwest with her husband Barrett, daughter Kendall and son Connor, and is currently residing in Menomonee Falls.

  • Lawrence Kreiner – Director of Catering and Private Event Sales
  • Ross Lorenz – Executive Chef, Country Club

      Chef Ross is from Milwaukee and has been working in kitchens since the age of 13 where he started at Saz's. Since then he has worked at a number of restaurants and clubs, being promoted to Executive Sous Chef at the age of 26 at the Bluemound Country Club. As an active member of The Milwaukee American Culinary Federation, Ross has recently been elected to serve on the board as the chapter's secretary. He is also a chef mentor for the Wauwatosa East Pro-Start Culinary team. Lorenz has hosted Governor Scott Walker on two occasions, placed multiple years at the WMSE chili cook off, and has garnered a reputation for executing VIP dinner events featuring vineyards, brewers and distilleries from all over the world.

  • Scott Klenke – Executive Chef, City Club

      Scott grew up in Cedarburg, WI. He joined the Air Force after high school and spent 4 years serving our country. After a brief stint in sales, he began my professional culinary career.  At the Mequon Country Club, Scott quickly became the lead grill and sauté cook with an occasional bartending appearance. After two years, he left to manage the bar at Zaffiro's in Mequon. Scott missed his time working with food and had an opportunity to return managing the kitchen at Water Buffalo where enjoyed a two year tenure but ultimately left to spend more time with his newborn daughter. After some time working on outside sales at Sysco, he was presented with an opportunity to run the kitchen at River Club of Mequon and jumped at it. After two years, Scott was promoted to Food & Beverage Director and oversaw 100+ employees across six different departments. In August 2017, Scott joined The Chef's Table. Learning from Chef David Magnasco broadened his skills in fine dining and was the first non-a la carte restaurant that Scott had worked at. Soon after Scott left to open Dorsia on Brady.

      Scott is excited to join the University Club as his next venture. The breadth of knowledge he brings will be able to elevate 1898 and the City Club's food service to the next level. He promised to provide our members with reliable, delicious food and beverage service. 

  • David Magnasco – Culinary Director

      David Magnasco oversees all culinary operations at both the City and Country Clubs. He has 27 years of professional culinary experience working in restaurants and private clubs throughout the world and also serves as the executive chef and owner of "The Chef's Table," the region's first fully private dining restaurant.

      For six years, he served as executive chef of the former Tripoli Country Club. He was also executive chef of The Milwaukee Club for three years. His culinary career also includes working at Coquette Café and the Bartolotta Restaurant Group in Milwaukee; The Great Dane Pub and Brewing Co. in Madison, Wis.; and, the Big Island Steak House in Honolulu. Chef Magnasco graduated from the Italian Culinary Institute of Costigliole D'Asti's master's program in Piedmonte, Italy. In addition, he holds the local office position of Vice-Chargé de Missions for the Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs.

  • Matt Bluethman – Executive Director of Food and Beverage, City Club

      Matt first began working at the University Club in 2008 while finishing his B.A. in Political Science at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. Matt has nearly 10 years of private club food & beverage management experience, and has successfully passed the Introductory Level testing with the Court of Master Sommeliers and is excited to continue his wine education in the future. He enjoys the world of fine wine, food, and cocktails and has a passion for ensuring the University Club Member experience continues at a high level.

  • Ornela Dhamo – Dining and Banquet Manager, City Club

      A native of the Republic of Albania, Ornela moved to America. She joined the University Club staff in 2004 and has been a fixture of the Club's Member Dining Room ever since. Ornela has 2 children with her beloved husband. She is an unparalleled source of Club knowledge for Members and staff alike, and always ready to go the extra mile for the Club.

  • Katie Bruch – Service Manager, Country Club

      Katie was born in Menomonee Falls but moved to Texas when she was 10. Her love for the service industry began when she had her first job setting up corporate boxes at the Ballpark in Arlington (Globe Life Park). Katie moved back to the Milwaukee area in 2001 to be closer to family. From there, she has worked in a variety of different restaurants, both corporate and family owned. Most recently, Katie was the Assistant General Manager at Water Buffalo in the Third Ward. Although she has grown up around country clubs, this will be her first time working for one and she is  excited to take what she has learned through years of working in restaurants and applying that knowledge in a private club environment. 

  • Jillian Carlson – Marketing and Communications Manager

      Jillian is a Milwaukee native. She moved to New York City to attend school at the Fashion Institute of Technology, graduating with a BS in Advertising and Marketing Communications. While attending school at night she worked full time in marketing and operations roles for a data science start-up as well as a public relations firm. After three years and a backpacking trip through Central and South America, she has returned to her home town to continue her career.

  • Lindsay Pallo – Office Manager

      Lindsay has longstanding ties to the University Club family as her father Douglas was the Executive Chef at the Club for over 20 years. She joined the Club's Front Desk team in 2011 and was promoted to Office Manager in the summer of 2016. Lindsay's team is the hub of all Club communications and the first line of contact on the phones and for Members and Guests entering the building.

  • Jeff Podbielski – Controller/HR Manager

      Jeff was born and raised in Milwaukee. He is a graduate of Marquette School of Business. When away from work, he enjoys spending time with his family making memories. He is a first-degree black belt in Hapkido, and martial arts is a passion that he delights in with his children. He enjoys the challenges of his current position and looks forward to the bright future here.

  • Dylan Hills – Director of Golf

      Dylan returned to his home state when he accepted the position of Director of Golf in 2013. He grew up in Watertown and played all sports but ultimately golf is what he pursued. Growing up in a golf oriented family he knew it was a great fit for him and he enrolled at Ferris State University and majored in Professional Golf Management. After college, he became the Assistant Golf Professional at Kenosha Country Club and Desert Princess Country Club in Palm Springs, CA. After leaving the desert in 2000, he took the position of First Assistant Professional at Blackhawk Country Club in Danville, CA and later became the Sr. Head Professional at the facility which is considered to be one of the most exclusive clubs in Northern California. In 2008, he accepted the position of Head Professional at Winchester Country Club in Auburn, CA and left in 2013 to become the General Manager at Minnesota National Golf Course in McGregor, MN. Dylan enjoys spending time with his family, Wife Molly and children Bailey, Marlee and Ben. When he is not at the club he is driving his children to their next activity, watching the Packers, playing golf or traveling.

  • Mike Miezin – Head Golf Professional

      Head Golf Professional Mike Miezin brings over 20 years of experience in the golf industry to the University Club. Mike grew up in Franklin, Wisconsin and started his professional career in Hartford, WI. During that time, Mike spent 7 winters in Naples, FL at Kensington Country Club and in 2006 he received his Class "A" PGA membership. Most recently Mike is furthering his PGA education with his enrollment in PGA coaching/teaching and golf operations certification programs. Mike has a great appreciation for the traditions of the game and takes great pride in providing exceptional services for the membership.

  • Jon Calvillo – Director of Tennis

      Jon has been director of tennis for 20 years. He attended Marquette University on a tennis scholarship and received both his bachelor of science and M.B.A in Marketing. Jon has been ranked #1 in Wisconsin in both men's open singles and mixed doubles and has been ranked as high as #2 in the Midwest in men's open singles. He was past chairman of the Wisconsin junior competition committee and the Wisconsin girl's endorser. Currently, Jon is a head coach for the Wisconsin competition training centers and tournament director for the Wisconsin district qualifier, the largest junior tournament in Wisconsin. In the off season, Jon is director of tennis for the elite sports clubs.

  • Michael Dishaw – Facility Manager City Club

      Michael Dishaw grew up in Northern Michigan and after attending Lake Superior State College he moved to the Milwaukee area in 1973. He has been the Facility Manager at the University Club since January of 2006, where his duties include maintaining and improving this old house. Dishaw lives with his wife Karla in Eagle and they have been blessed with three children and five grandchildren.

  • Elias Guteirrez – Facility Manager, Country Club

      Elias has been employed at the former Tripoli Country Club for 17 years. Through hard work and dedication, he worked his way up through the ranks and is now the Facility Manager at the Country Club. He oversees the Housekeeping staff as well as making sure that all the equipment and machinery used by the club is up-to-date and operational. Elias is married and has one young son.

  • Terry Conway – Grounds Superintendent, Country Club
    • Terry has forty years of experience as a supervisor in Golf Course Management. While attending college, he was asked to fill the vacant position as Assistant Superintendent and never looked back. He soon obtained his degree in the "School of Hard Knocks." Terry's duties include the daily maintenance and operation of the golf course, as well as overseeing and implementing the many changes necessary to keep the course running smoothly. Terry lives in Germantown with his wife, Chris, and their three daughters. All of the girls, as well as other family members have worked at the Club over the years, cementing the bond between them. Terry is very proud and appreciative of all his staff, without whom he could not do his job.

  • Steven "Wheat" Beck – Grounds
    • Steven is a Milwaukee native. He worked one summer at the Country Club during high school. After working for two years as a draftsman for a local aerospace contractor he attended the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee. He received A BS in Mechanical Engineering. He has worked golf course maintenance at the Country Club since college and is the assistant to Terry, the golf course superintendent.
